Chaining task sequences?
HiI currently have a TS which is applied to machines to install the base applications we use (flash, office, adove reader etc). How can I chain this into the OSD sequence so that we can get end-to-end deployment?

There is no direct way to chain task sequences; it is an often requested feature though.I have seen two alternatives proposed: Christjan's and dynamically adding an advertisement for the follow-on task sequence to the system being deployed. Both have their drawbacks but it is unfortunately al we have.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

I have also seen the variable method of installing multiple apps but the syntax was a bit confusing:http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb680842.aspxTo install three applications, you would specify the following additional variables: <!----> Task Sequence variable: AA002 <!----> Value: Package CEN00107:Install Silent <!----> Task Sequence variable: AA003 <!----> Value: Package ID: CEN0031:InstallIs this in the collection properties? Also, How can I create a selection list of other apps so that Engineers can tick in Project, Visio,... ... aand then install them also?
