Cellular Card Stopped Working

Hi

SInce I got the latest Tech preview upgrade my Cellular card has stoped working. What happens is that I can see the card in the Control Panel (it's a Gobe 4g module in a HP laptop) but when I click connect and get to the "metro" gui the network is not there. If I click Cellular in the new Control Panel it's not there either.

Any fix for this?

Short update, I noticed that the driver now is a Generic Mobile broadband adapter. I changed that to different .inf files that came with my driver install but still it does not work) when trying to install the driver automaticly it always revert back to the generic driver..

Download and install the Windows 8.1 drivers for your card from HP Support.

Contact HP support to see if they have updates Alpha Windows 10 drivers for your card. Depends on the Vendor but sometimes they do.

Very anoying that I just can't revert to the drivers I used before this latest Win10 Upgrade. :(

Did you ever try to install the win 8.1 drivers in Compatibility mode?

To install in compatibility mode do the following:

Right click the installer>properties>compatibility>choose OS

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows?SignedIn=1
(works in vista, win 7, win 8, and win 10)

Yep sadly same problem..

I do wonder what the generic MS mobile broadband driver does.. As it came with the release before 1004 and now there is a new version of it and it does not work either :)
