Make sure that the user being useds to display the user profile has the correct permissions. If the user does not you will see a 404 (page cannot be displayed) when clicking on a user. Check whether the user has permission following the below steps: 1. Go to the SSP 2. In the “User Profiles and My Sites” group, click on the “Personalization services permissions” link. 3. Click on the user name (for example, NT AUTHORITY\Authenticated Users). 4. On the “Modify Permissions: Shared Service Rights” page, “Use personal features” is uncheck or not, if unchecked, check the following the option and save For more info refer to the below links: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc263073.aspx http://www.tech-archive.net/Archive/SharePoint/microsoft.public.sharepoint.portalserver.development/2009-01/msg00015.html http://stevepietrek.com/2007/12/11/disable-mysite-and-mylinks-in-moss-2007/ Cheers Geoff

Were the profiles being displayed before the profile import? Has the personalization web been deployed for MySites and User profiles? Are you on SP2 or higher so that it tries to redirect to person.aspx or userdisp.aspx with earlier patches?SharePoint MVP | Developer | Administrator | Speaker-- Twitter -- Blog - http://nextconnect.blogspot.com

Hi, I assume that you’re running MOSS 2007.In addition to what Geoff and Mike suggested, you can create a new SSP, change the SSP association via stsadm associatewebapp command, import the user profile then check the result if problem still remains. For details about this command line, please refer to:http://blogs.technet.com/josebda/archive/2007/03/22/complete-reference-of-all-stsadm-commands-with-options-in-moss-2007.aspx Hope it helps.Lily Wu

Is there a way to stop the redirect from userdisp.aspx to the mysite person.aspx???? I didn't realize this changed in SP2.Andrew Milsark, MCTS Fpweb.net - The SharePoint Hosting Pioneer Blog : http://blog.fpweb.net Twitter : http://www.twitter.com/amilsark
