Hi, I would like to ask couple things about share point. Actually i am trying to filter datasheet view in web view. so what I have is kinda looks like this: 1st web parts : SharepointList Filter ( to filter job name) 2nd web parts : SharepointList Filter ( to filter month) 3rd web parts : datasheet view list ( contain the list of data) But anyhow the connection between #1 and #3 won't work.The filter can only connect to list View (not the datasheet view). Furthermore, there is only 1 connection can be made to each of the web parts. I have read the online help for that problem, please check this link . It was saying that it is possible to filter datasheet view, and we also can have more than 1 connection to 1 datasheet view. any idea on how to fix that problem? Many Thanks, Billy

The problem is that you are confusing Data SHEET View with Data VIEW Web Part. You cannot filter the datasheet view of a list view web part, but you CAN filter a dataview web part. Use this (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint-server-help/connect-a-filter-web-part-to-a-data-view-web-part-HA010250997.aspx?CTT=5&origin=HA010033786) article and replace your list view web part in data sheet view, with a proper data view web part. thanks Cornelius for the reply, yeah i did misunderstanding about the datasheetview and dataview. Thanks for your info. What about the connection from 2 web parts? is that possible? once I created 2 filters to the data list view the connection only available for 1 filter. thanks, Billy
