I have a library with 3 content types. I have migrated a set of documents over to the library and adding the meta-data through datasheet. When I try to change the content type, it defaults to the Document content type as soon as I move to the next record. No error message. No required columns individual to any of the content types (all unique columns are optional). Can not find an answer to this in other forums etc. Please help!!

Hi all, sorry in addition to post above I have just discovered that if I open one of the documents and check the meta-data using File > Properties, it shows as the correct content type however when you view properties from within SharePoint, it is showing as the Document content type (which is not even the default content type for the library). Any ideas, suggestions, troubleshoots will be muchly appreciated!
