Cannot show visual studio for applications editor
Hi , When i tried to edit script task i got following error message. Please let me know if anybody has got this kind of issue and got solution. Thanks in advance ! Prashant Mhaske

If you close Visual Studio and try it again, does the problem persist? If yes, maybe re-installing BIDS might help.MCTS, MCITP - Please mark posts as answered where appropriate.

Hi Prashant, Plese try to repaire the 'shared features' of the SQL Server installation, it might could solve this problem. Go to Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs and select 'Microsoft SQL Server 2008', click either Change/Remove or Repair. In the repair wizard page titled "Repair SQL Server 2008", select the Specify the instance of SQL Server to repair: and then select <<Repair shared features only>>.
