I can't open an IRM protected document in Office Web Apps.

I'm recieving the following error.

Sorry, Word Web App con't open this document because it's protected by Information Rights Management (IRM). To view this document please open it in Microsoft Word.

When I enabled IRM on this document library I did not select "Prevent opening documents in the browser for this Document Library"

I did a search on my error and found this technet question. When then lead to an article on Information Rights Management which said it's possible to view the document in the browsers.

I'm not sure if I have Office Web Apps or the IRM on the document library configured incorrectly. Can someone tell me how to open an IRM Protected document in the browser?
