Cannot install client from SCCM console
Hi,
I have brand new install of SCCM 2007 SP2 R3. Everything is on one server incl. WSUS and also FEP.
I have discovered computers but struggling to deploy the client to them.
I right click the computer, and select "Install Client" select the defaults but nothing ever happens. The target computer does not have a ccmsetup.log file.
How long should it take to deploy the client? I presume it should have worked so is there any logs that can help identify where the problem is?
Thanks

See ccm.log on the siteserver.
Also make sure that the clients are within the site boundaries (or uncheck "include only clients in this site's boundaries")Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

In addition to Torsten's suggestions.
Check that no local firewall on the client is blocking the Client Push attempt
make sure that a Client push acocunt is configured or that the SCCM Primary Site server has local Administrator permissions on the client.

Thanks I will look at this article.
I looked at the log and found some credential issues initially but have found it has been pushed to some servers. There is a service on these servers called "ccmsetup" and it set to automatic. This seems like it is in the middle of installation.
I will wait and see what happens.
How long should the whole process take until I see it installed in the SCCM GUI?

I found these,

Download ConfigMgr Toolkit 2007 V2 and use the MP Troubleshooter. Also double check the Webdav settings according to

The MP Troubleshooter identified and fixed a webDAV issue, all working again now thanks.
A worthwhile tool to use.
