Cannot have both servers managed in SCE 2007?
My problem resides in the fact that i have a bunch of servers that i want to manage with SCE. 5 of them are VMware machines on the same host. It works BUT, 2 of those cannot be managed in the same time (not those where SCE is installed). If i've installed SCE agent on machine A and B, B stays on "not yet contacted" forever. And when it finally works on B, machine A disappear from the computers list. What this is all about ? Thanks

WSUS server version, if its upgraded to wsus 3.0 sp2?3.check if machines in agent managed group of Administration space and see if you are seeing any alerts?4.windowupdate log from %windir% and you can post this log at SCEData@microsoft.com?Thanks, AnshuThis posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

Hello Cocobuck97,Pleasecheckthe problemetic clients ifthe OSwas cloned, soit hasthe same SusClientId with another client. WSUS cannot distinguish one computer from another if the SusClientId is identical with each other. This is a known issue in WSUS. Read the KB article below for more information.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903262 To avoid this issue, you can clear SusClientId before making images. Also, you can delete the SusClientId manually on every machine. To do this, stick the following lines in a batch file and run it on all clients. And it should get fixed.net stop wuauservREG DELETE "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v AccountDomainSid /fREG DELETE "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v PingID /fREG DELETE "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate" /v SusClientId /fnet start wuauservwuauclt /resetauthorization /detectnowThanks,Yog Li - MSFT
