Cannot find the 'Edit' column in Detailed view
Hello,
in the book I am trying to follow it says to open Report Manager and click on 'Detailed view'. According to the book I should now have a number of columns, and one of them should be 'Edit'. This is where I am supposed to go to set up the caching of the report.
The problem is that I do not have that column. I have from the left; a check box, a column called 'Type', a column called 'Name', a column called 'Description', a column called 'Last run', a column called 'Modified', a column called 'Date' and a column called
'Modified by'.
The column 'Edit' should be to the left of the column 'Type'....
Have I missed a set up or something? How can I get to the execution properties of my report?

Thanks for your quick answer.
The user I am using is in the group 'Administrators' on the server. Even thought it is, I get an error message when I try to go to
http://localhost/reports and I have to use run as administrator to be able to connect to Report Manager.
I checked the security in the 'Site settings' and the user is set to 'System administrator'. On the folder where the report is stored the user is now set to 'Report Builder' but the 'Edit' column is still missing...

Hi SPEHE,
Ah you made me think crazy :D :D
Looks like you are using SSRS 2008 or SSRS R2 version. The "Edit" column you are talking about was under SSRS 2005 version, now MS guys have change the look & feel of the Report Server "Little bit".
Their is nothing related to permission issue it's just a look & feel has been change from SSRS 2005 -->> SSRS 2008, I'm including some screenshot of 2005 & 2008 for your better understanding.

1. Please check "SSRS_2005.pdf" for the Edit column marked with RED border
2. Please check "SSRS_2008_R2.pdf" you WON'T find Edit column (as I told you earlier look & feel has been changed)
3. Please check "SSRS_2008_R2_Edit.pdf" for the Edit, you need to hover your mouse to the end of the "Name" column and you will see highlighted yellow bar click on it, this is actually Edit column, you are seeing under SSRS 2005.
I hope that makes sense to you.
Please let us know your feedback.
Thanks
