Cannot discover DHCP windows server R2

hi i not able to discover the DHCP windows 2012 R2 server using the new DHCP 2012/R2 MP

- i can see it discovered using DHCP 2008R2 MP even it is DHCP windows 2012R2 server.

- I have granted the as DHCP admin. Do i need to add my action account into the DHCP profile?

Make sure that DHCP Action Account has
 Registry Read permission
Full access to HKLM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DHCPServer\Performance key and all subkeys
 Event log Read permission
Member of the DHCP Users or DHCP Administrators group (located in local Security Accounts Manager (SAM) or Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) depending on whether the managed node is domain joined or not)
Server Operator (if you want to be able to start / stop DHCP service)
Able to create temporary files in the service account temp directory

Hello,

In the Operations Console-> Go to Authoring-> Management Pack Objects-> Object Discoveries:

Look for Microsoft.Windows.2008R2.DHCP.Server.Discovery and check if it's enabled.

Hi,

Microsoft Windows Server DHCP 2012 MP Version 6.0.7063 - discovery works only for DHCP 2012 (Microsoft Windows Server DHCP and Microsoft Windows Server DHCP 2012 objects).

Microsoft Windows Server DHCP 2008R2 MP Version 6.0.6709 - discovery works for all DHCP servers (Microsoft. Windows.2008R2.DHCP.Server.Role object)

For the mix environment it's possible to use both MPs version 6.0.6709 and 6.0.7063, but to override the Microsoft.Windows.2008R2.DCHP.Server.Discovery for DHCP 2012 servers.

Hi,

Have you disabled the discovery rule Microsoft.Windows.2008R2.DHCP.Server.Discovery for DHCP 2012? Please disable the rule for DHCP 2012 by overriding, and then remove-disabledmonitoringobjects.

And make sure the DHCP 2012 discovery rule is enabled.
