Cannot create connection to datasource.
I am working in SSRS 2008 R2. I have deployed several reports to different users. With some reports, they work fine and user the user can run the reports as needed. But on some, the user is getting the "Cannot create a connection to the
datasource."
I have tried entering an execution account into report configuration, tried specifying a windows account to connect as well as other things.
We use use Windows Authentication. I was able to use a similar system in 2005.
Can I set these reports so that he user can access the reports without being denied access to the datasource?
Thanks,

Hi Mike,
Can you post a screen shot of your data source properties setup in Report Manager? If you are using Windows authentication, then users should have access to the data source(databases etc) used by the report. If you still want them to to be
able run reports without having access to the data source, then you can use the option "<label for="ui_rdoStoredDataSource_0">Credentials stored securely in the report server</label>" and specify an account that has access to the data sources used
by the report.
Hope this helps.Shahfaisal Muhammed http://shahfaisalmuhammed.blogspot.com

Thank you for your help.
Properties are set at
Name: BoardReport
Description:
Data Source type: Microsoft SQL Server
Connection string: Data Source=NameOfServer; Initial Catalog=DB
Connect using: Windows integrated security
Test connection works on the admin computer. I took a look at the log and it says it cannot load SQLPWD and TERADATA extension.
Thank you,
