Cannot connect to site

When I try to connect to SCCM using the server console or the console on a workstation. The AdminUi.log file shows the error below. I have restarted sql and wmi services on both servers and checked DCOM and WMI permissions. Everything looks ok.

[7, PID:3048][05/22/2014 11:25:14] :System.Management.ManagementException\r\nProvider load failure \r\n   at

System.Management.ManagementException.ThrowWithExtendedInfo(ManagementStatus errorCode)

Any ideas?

Did it ever work? Can other users connect?

It has worked for around 2 years. Me and one other guy have the only two accounts, it is a fairly simple setup just a single server. No one can connect using any account from any machine even locally on the server. Just above the error I posted it is trying to run a wmi query "Select * From SMS_Site where sitecode = (mysitecode)"

A bit more info below.

I have tried all of these, still the same problem. In the eventlog I get The certificate received from the remote server has either expired or is not yet valid. The SSL connection request has failed. The attached data contains the server certificate. Yet I cannot find an expired cert on the sql server that sccm uses. How do I find more information about where this expired cert originated?

SSL is not used when using the console, so it is unrelated.
May 26th, 2014 4:45pm

But if SSL is used when connecting to the site database then could they be linked?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but Im trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?

Since no one has answer this post, I recommend opening  a support case with Microsoft Customer Support Services (CSS) as they can work with you to solve this problem.
