Cannot add any new Boot Images SCCM 2012

Hi Guys,

I have just walked into a new company on monday , i have just created a new reference image with MDT 2013, after creating the reference i imported the OS into CM12, then went to add one of the Boot images from MDT and i receive the below access denied error. (MDT is linked to CM12)

I am logged in as a domain admin, i have full access over the folder containing the wim as far as i can tell

here is the dism log: http://1drv.ms/1LmxX2r

I have reinstalled AIK but stuck at what to do .

Many errors in the dism.log but unsure what is causing the issue.

Error is :  The specified file can not be imported. Make sure the file is not read only and you have read and write access to it.

I also get errors when trying to create a new wim from the context menu, create wim with mdt.

It did not have a look at the log, but it's the computer account of the site server that needs access to those files.

The specified file is invalid. Only maximum compression type is supported.

looks like sccm is running at

ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 CU2 5.00.7804.1300 7804

Do i need to update to use adk 8.1 ?
