Cannot activate MSDN version of Windows 10 Enterprise

I installed Windows 10 Enterprise after downloading it from MSDN. I performed a clean install from an iso image.

After the installation, it wanted me to activate it so I tried to oblige. Then I received the extremely informative message "Windows can't activate. Try again later." Trying later several times lead to the same result.

Thinking it was just a bad disk image, I downloaded a completely different iso image from our Microsoft Partner account, installed it, and got the same message.

I can connect to the internet, so that's not the problem. However, the friendly error message is so obtuse that I have no idea what the source of the problem could be.

Other people also seem to be having this issue, but so far I haven't seen a solution.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue?

Hi Laurence,

Since this is an issue with the activation of Windows 10, I am moving your post to the Windows thread,

Thanks,

Sowmya
