Cannot Publish Website to internet from Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise issue with Sharepoint 2010
Hi, I have problem for publishing my Sharepoint 2010 website externaly, only internal can access the webiste, 1. OS Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. 2. I already configure the alternate access to internet and work locally without any problem. 3. Access it internally without any problem. 4. Before this I install it into Server 2008 Foundation version without problem to publishing to internet. The only issue is the 15 user limitation. That why I choose R2 Enterprise. 5. I also try using R2 Standard version but the problem is its cannot save ip address, keep on empty when reboot. 6. Is there any security issue limit the access from internet (WAN). Thanks.

Hi dzaziz, Thanks for posting here. If you have set this server as internet gateway and configured NAT for internet sharing for internal networking then you should configure port forwarder to publish internal site to internet: For the detail steps please refer to the link below, it should also work on Windows server 2008 R2: Configuring Access to Services Behind a Network Address Translator (NAT) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb878046.aspx Thanks.
