I want to create a template for a list that is to be uploaded from an excel document. The columns will match the fields in the list, i just want to import the data. is this possible? I see no 'update list from spreadsheet' option. I want this to be available to an end user, so any details of addins etc please provide distribution info. Thanks!Ben Taliadoros Software Engineer

There's a standard option that allows you to create a List from an Excel spreadsheet. Once the list is created you can create a Template from it (with content if that's what you want).
