Hi we currently use MOSS 2007 for our intranet and I'm currently trying to configure additional user profile properties. Is there a way to make a User profile property become active depending on another user profile property? I've got a User profile Property that is a defined list containing names of Committee Groups Such as Occupational Health and Safety, Social Committee, Fire wardens etc. I then have other User profile properties containing Positions based on each of those Committee groups. Is there a way to make the second set of user profiles dependent on the first? E.G if you select Occupational Health and Safety in the first user profile then the second user profile you can select a position such as chairperson or secretary? Or is there even an easier way to do this then how I'm currently doing it. ? Thanks for any help

Unfortunately - there isn't a way to do this "out of the box" with SharePoint. I would expect that you could do this "programatically" with custom code - but I am not sure you want to go to that level of work or customization.
