Can you apply a security scope to a folder?
We are going to have a highly segmented deployment of SCCM 2012 with various technical groups having rights to different things. For example, department X will have their own group of licensed applications, images, and task sequences.
Can you apply a security scope to a folder of items (for example, deportment X's task sequences) or do you have to set the scopes on them all individually on each object?
2 more questions in this vein:
If department X's users add a new task sequence, will they see department Y's folder if you cannot set scopes on the folders? If a user from department X creates a new task sequence, is department X's security scope applied to it?
Thanks for any insight you might have.
