Can task data be synchronized from SharePoint 2007 to Outlook 2003?
Hello all,I have a problem about task data synchronization. I have many subsites in SharePoint 2007 and each subsite has it's own task list. It is not easy for me to find out all task assign for me.I'm wondering is there a way to show all those task in my Outlook task? I use MS office outlook2003.If not, is there any other methods to display those tasks in different sites to one page? Of course, all about "my task".Thanks!BR,lloonoca

1) You should be able to go to each of those tasks lists and click Actions > Connect to Outlook. Since you have very old Outlook 2003, it will only be a one-way read, so you can't interact with the tasks, but you can at least see them all in Outlook. If you had Outlook 2007, you would be able to manage all of them in Outlook without ever going to SharePoint2) You can create a content query web part that collates all of them in one place.3) You can create a Data view Web Part in SharePoint Designer to combine all of them into a web part that you display on a custom web part page.SharePoint Architect || Microsoft MVP || My Blog

Even for me, in regular tasks list, I am not able to see the option of "Connect to Outlook " when I have Outlook 2003 installed on my machine. I could also see following columns Edit in Datasheet Export to Speadsheet View RSS Feed Alert Me Is there a way to configure it so that we can have "Connect to Outlook " displayed in the sharepoint site in addtion to above mentioned default columns when opened from a client machine which has Office 2003 server installed. Is there any patch for that? Hope I am clear with my question?
