Version Control 5. Support Version Comparison 6. Support Version Roll-back 7. Multi-Language 8. Media Library 9. HTML Editor support directly copy and paste from MS Word doc. would be appreciated if u can provide some links or ref to those functions, many thanks. Jay

My comments in bold: 1. use Oracle Database - Using BDC you should be able to access any datasource 2. able to generate static HTML - Publishing pages can generate and you can also serve plain html pages 3. Approval Workflow - SharePoint has OOTB a approval workflow 4. Version Control - Yes 5. Support Version Comparison - Yes 6. Support Version Roll-back -Yes 7. Multi-Language - SharePoint supports variation where you can publish and replicate content in various languages. What exactly you want here ? 8. Media Library - Since SharePoint recommends max of 50 mb file and it stores all files in Sql server, DO NOT recommend SharePoint for media library but I recommend you to look at Podcasting kit for SharePoint in codeplex 9. HTML Editor support directly copy and paste from MS Word doc. - Yes, Content editor web part supports and Document conversion ability can convert a whole word document to HTML file. As always I wish that people would be more exact about the SharePoint products needed to satisfy certain requirements. (Yes, I know that Microsoft in their presentations don't often bother to say that something is only available in the Enterprise version, but we here are better surely.) Both the repliers say "SharePoint". Well this is a pre-SP 2010 forum so that excludes SPF 2010 and all versions of SPS 2010 but there are still a lot left. Key here are three products WSS 3.0 MOSS 2007 Standard MOSS 2007 Enterprise. Already the first answer (BDC) is not available with WSS 3.0 (which is also "SharePoint") and as far as I can remember comes only with the Enterprise version of MOSS 2007. Publishing sites (Q2?) come only with MOSS 2007 too. The rest are in principal OK for all products but people expecting to get full version control (sufficient for code versions) should look elsewhere. As we know with all the SP products, version control is only really suitable for documents as it is "Versioning Lite".
