    In WS2012 and SharePoint 2013 Server you can get use a free limited version
of Yammer app software.

    Can this free limited version of Yammer be used in SharePoint 2010 Server
if so how can the free limited Yammer app be acquired for use in SharePoint 2010 Server?

If it is a SharePoint 2013 "app", then no you can't use it in 2010. What's the URL to the app? I'll take a look.

     Microsoft bought a company named "Yammer " that is communication software I believe it comes with Sharepoint 2013 Server.  Because I have been unable to get a Sharepoint 2013 Server kerberos web application to run (even though I configured the SPN's) I am considering going back to Sharepoint 2010 Server and creating a web app but I don't know where to get Yammer or how I would include it into a  Sharepoint 2010 Server web application created using the GUI.

Yup, know about Yammer... :-)  While SharePoint 2013 does not include a Yammer app, there are several in the "app store". https://store.office.com/search.aspx?productgroup=SharePoint&qu=yammer  So if it's one of those, then no it won't work in SharePoint 2010.
