When I setup outlook to a re-formated computer at home. Outlook connected my personal email provider's server and automatically downloaded email, meanwhile removed all my email in the server!!! This is horrible function! I know that I should do advance setting and choose "leave email in sever" before finish. Dose anyone know that I can up load email back to server then I can access the email from other computer? I really don't understand why Microsoft office has so many auto function, especially why I need to go to advance setting to avoid email delete!!!!!!!! Thanks,

This is NOT a SharePoint question... That being said... the default action for POP email is to download from the server. You should use IMAP instead of POP whenever possible as it doesn't have these issues. What you could try in Outlook is to connect a *NEW* account setting to the *SAME* account using IMAP instead of POP. Then simply drag and drop your email from the old account window to the new account window. It may take a while to upload all the email to new account, but it should work. Thanks for answering my question. However, , it could not connect to Camcast server when I tried to use IMAP instead of POP3. Anyway, automatically remove email function is an annoying!!! Thanks.
