I have created a sharepoint list page and need to track the items as they are updated. I have made 'date updated' a mandatory field for each item, but each time the item is edited the updated date needs to be changed manually. Is there a way to make the date update automatically? I have tried to use the calculated value of [today] but that only works for the first time I load an item and not when it is edited thereafter. This is using Sahepoint 2007.
