I can install patches or hotfixs to WSUS, even if the management of patches is done by SCCM?

It has some risk if I upgrade it? I'm having some problems in the workstation that are not getting updates. And in the forums that I consulted, I ask to install the patch 2720211 on the WSUS server.

if your question is can you upgrade WSUS to SP2. The answer is yes. It does fix some deployment issues.

If I remember correctly it was a straight forward install... granted its been a while since I installed it but I can go back and look at my build note.
