If i am not wrong you want to add yourself as an Administrator of APP Controller.

By default APP controller will add the domain admins as its Administrator, so you are the Administrator by default. You can check this by navigating to

Settings\User Roles\Administrators. You can see that you are in the administrators member group.

Hope this can help you.

Hi elsaxo,

From your description it looks like App Controller recognizes that you are an admin for App Controller. Administrators in App Controller see a node called "Settings" as the last navigation item on the left side of the screen and if you are seeing this then you are an admin in App Controller.

Did you install the same version of App Controller as Virtual Machine Manager? App Controller only works with System Center 2012 - Virtual Machine Manager and cannot connect to VMM 2008 R2 or earlier.

If you have upgraded/installed VMM to the 2012 SP1 Beta then you also need to be using the 2012 SP1 Beta of App Controller. Likewise if you installed the 2012 SP1 Beta for App Controller then VMM needs to be 2012 SP1 Beta.

Thanks

Richard
