So the FIM password reset took lets you reset your password and it will automatically unlock your account if it was locked out. However, does anybody know if it has a function to unlock accounts only without resetting the password? Many times users do not want to reset their passwords because they accidentally mistyped the password and just want to unlock the account. Can anyone point to the answer to this questions?

There is no out-of-box mechanism to just unlock user. I assume it can be done easily with a custom Action Activity... the problem is how u would hook that in the logon screen... i don't see an easy way with FIM
