Hello, I am interested in getting some info on the following questions. We want to run Certificate Management FIM 2010, but at this time this is the only product we wish to utilize. Can this be the only product installed? Can this product be run under a Highly Available Hyper-V Cluster as a VM? Can we use an external SQL Server, or would it be recommended to run SQL on the CM VM? Our goal is to manage user certificates and SSL certificates. What would the licenses cost or need be for this type of deployment? thank you for your time. Fed

You can install and operate FIM 2010 CM separately from FIM 2010 Portal and/or FIM 2010 Synchronization Engine. There are individual setup routines for the FIM 2010 CM web app installation and the CA exit modules. Among others as prerequisite you need IIS locally and a local or remote SQL 2008 Server instances. /Matthias
