Hi All, I went to add a AD user group to one of my collections, but I wasn't able to find it. I created the direct mebership to search both the "all users groups" and "all active directory security groups". Neither collection knows of the AD group, but other groups in the same OU exist. This group I'm looking for has existed for awhile, but never the less I updated the membership and that didn't help. Any help would be grateful.

A couple of possibilities come to mind... - The group you are looking for has been added to AD recently, and the Discovery has not run since that group name was added. - AD discovery types runs under the context of the site server computer name--perhaps security in AD on that group name doesn't allow the server to read it (extremely unlikely, but I'll mention it, just in case) - Are you sure you mean AD Security Groups? Maybe you mean AD System Group Discovery? Check F1 help for the two different Discovery types, and confirm you have the right one setup, and are troubleshooting the correct one. - Don't forget to check the logs on your server! They'll tell you everything.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.
