I can't install neither SCCM Client nor distribute any software like adobe reader. That's because your MP is having issues. Download ConfigMgr toolkit V2 and use the Mp Troubleshooter, plus search for mplist and mpcert in the docs. And this is how you have to configure Server 2008: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc431377.aspx. Make sure to follow those instructions exactly.
