I have been trying to connect SCCM to our WSUS server, but can't seem to get them talking.

SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 running on 2008 R2 - The WSUS 3.0 SP2 Admin console is installed.

WSUS 3.0 SP2 running on 2008 R2 port 80. This is setup as a Site Server with only the SUP role installed

I have followed multiple guides online and run through all the normal troubleshooting. I have removed and reinstalled all WSUS components. I have done the initial configuration of WSUS (download update information from MSFT and then canceling the wizard) I have even tried running completely through the configuration wizard, ut not doing the initial sync..

SCCM is configured to sync Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 R2, and MSFT Silverlight updates only. English is the only language selected. 

Firewall is currently disabled on both servers.

The logs always show the following wsyncmgr.log:

Setting sync alert to active state on site SPK

Sync time: 0d00h00m00s

Wakeup for a polling cycle

Starting Sync

Performing sync on retry schedule

Read SUPs from SCF for pamlsccm01.paml.com

Any suggestions on how I can get this working?

Have you installed the KBs which are mentioned in the WCM.log?
