Can't download updates: Error 0x80246002

Hello,

I installed Windows 10 Pro Build 10240 yesterday and so far so good.

Windows update worked fine in the beginning until it reached "Intel HD Graphics 4600"
I started getting this error

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 - Error 0x80246002
Security Update for Microsoft Word 2013 (KB2956163) 64-Bit Edition - Error 0x80246002
Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB2850036) 64-Bit Edition - Error 0x80200056

I checked Device Manager and all devices are working fine, although the driver's version of Intel HD Graphics is old, it's v9.x but it's supposed to be v10.x

EDIT: I'm also getting "Error 0x803F7003" when trying to download or update apps in Windows Store.

Hi Halnex,

Please try the following method to clear the Windows update cache.
net stop wuauserv
cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
ren Download Download.old
net start wuauserv
Restart the machine and manually check for updates again

We also could run the built-in troubleshoot tool to have a diagnostic:
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Troubleshooting\All Categories\Windows Update

If the issue persists, we could try to download the update manually to have a check.

As for the driver, we could try to download the driver from the Intel website for the device.

Best r
