Calling SharePoint WebService from SSRS 2008 report
Hello, I am trying to call a Sharepoint WebService from Reporting Serivces 2008 report. According to this blog: http://vspug.com/dwise/2007/11/28/connecting-sql-reporting-services-to-a-sharepoint-list-redux/ And It works…but only in BIDS. If I deploy the report to the Report Server which is in native mode, the report execution fails: Access is denied due to invalid credentials. I guess that the WebService call will be tried by using the local service account which has no permissions to connect to the SharePoint site. Only Windows Authentification works. I couldn’t pass a username and password. What is wrong here? And is there a way to use the credentials of the current user? Any help is appreciated.

Reporting Services uses roles and role assignments to control access to report server content. By creating role assignments, you enable other users in your organization to view and publish reports and other items on a report server. There are two categories of roles: system-level and item-level. System-level role assignments specify a collection of tasks that apply to the report server site as a whole. Item-level role assignments describe tasks that apply to content, including permissions for publishing reports, generating models, viewing reports, setting properties, creating subscriptions, and so on. System-level and item-level role assignments are used together to provide a comprehensive set of permissions; even users who require limited access to a report server will benefit from having a system-level role assignment. Hello ramjaddu, thank you for your response, but I am afraid that your input about roles has nothing to do with my issue. I guess its rahter a "(kerberos) double hop" issue.
