Hi, if you are using SSRS 2008 R2, you can give a try on Databar chart control. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff487485(v=sql.105).aspx Aftab Ansari

Hi Kartik, Regarding this issue, if you want to do it in a tablix, I am afraid this cannot be done. For the Data Bar control, it displays inside a textbox and cannot spread across multiple cells. However, if you use a chart, we can achieve this by using the Rang Bar Chart. We can place the date field in the Values area, and set the "Top value" to "end_date" field and set the "Bottom value" to "start_date" field. Hi Kartik, Thanks for your posting. According to your second screenshot, you have palced a Range Bar Chart in the tablix. To make the report looks like what you expected, we can do as follows: 1. Copy the existing Range Bar chart and paste it into the static row that contains the "Invoice Name", and "MileStoneAmout" text just above the exsiting Range Bar charts. 2. For the newly added chart, click the series bar, and set the Fill color of the series to "No Color". 3. Remove the Horizontal Axis of the Range Bar Chart you placed in the details row. Note: For the same Range Bar chart, the location of the bars will move in small increments before or after we hide the Horizontal Axis. To make the Horizontal Axis match the range bars below it, we can insert rectangles into the tablix and then drag the two charts into the rectangels respectively. In the upper rectangle, we can adjust the width and the horizontal location of the Horizontal Axis to make it match the Range bars below. For more information, please see the following thread: How to connect a tablix to a column bar chart? Regards, Mike Yin Mike Yin TechNet Community Support
