Calendar Refreshes when you hover over the date or time on Week view.
I'm running Sharepoint Services V3.0 x64 on a Windows 2008 R2 server. I've created a few calendars for booking rooms however there is a small issue with these when they're displayed on week view. Interestingly this only seems to affect IE8 & IE9, machines running IE7 work as expected. If a user hovers over a day on the calendar or the time down the left hand side of the calendar it causes all of the events in the calendar to act as if they're refreshing. It clears everything which is displayed and reloads it again if the server doesn't have enough resources, though I've looked on the server it's self and done this and it doesn't show any load so it seems to be an issue on the local machine. It seems to affect all machines which have IE8 or IE9 on them, it just makes all of the events refresh completely.

Hi VinceD800, I can reproduce the phenomenon you described using MOSS2007 and IE 9: when mouse hover over the column header (show the date) in calendar week view, the items refresh one by one. This phenomenon doesn’t happen in other browser. Looking at the souse code, it just shows that: <th class="ms-cal-wtopday-today" noWrap="" onmouseover="this.className = 'ms-cal-wtopday-todayover';" onmouseout="this.className = 'ms-cal-wtopday-today';" onclick="javascript:MoveToViewDate('7\u002f18\u002f2011','Day');" colSpan="7" scope="col"> As the same page works fine in other browser, it seems an issue with IE, I suggest you to Windows IE support forum for more information. Thanks, Qiao Wei
