CUs and SCEP

Hi,

We are running SCEP 4.1 clients and I would like to upgrade them to the latest version.  When I checked the KB page it said that there were CUs required to do this.  I'm wondering what the risks are of applying CUs?  I'm worried about breaking things in SCCM.  Has anyone had a bad experience applying CUs to their SCCM environment?

Also do applying the CUs update the server piece of Endpoint Protection? Can I update the clients before I apply the CUs to the server?

Clients have to be upgraded after the site. Applying CUs usually does not break anything, but your mileage may vary. There is always a risk when changing something. If I apply the updates for I need to apply them in sequence or can I download the latest CU and just apply that?

CU=CUmulative.  You just need to install the latest CU.
