Hi Ranjan DS,

You need to open your Analysis Services Project (off-line mode) or directly your Analysis Services Database (on-line mode) using Business Intelligence Development Studio (if SQL 2005/2008/2008R2) or SQL Server Data Tools (if SQL 2012, 2014), open the cube holding the measures you want to change, using the measures pane at the top left hand side, select the  and change the Display Folder for your measures using the Properties Windows for each of those measures:

For example I have a _Numerator measure that you can put in a KPIs folder:

In the same Properties Window, you can also rename the measures using the Name property, or if you are in the Measure window, right click over the measure, select Rename, and change the name.

Hi Ranjan DS,

In Analysis Services, those folders you can see the Browser are Measure Group. We can only move up/down the measures within a Measure Group. So if you want to move those three measures to another "folder", you have the recreate them under another Measure Group. Please go to BIDS/SSDT, under Cube Structure, you can edit the Measure Group.

To change the name of measure, you just need to right on the measure and select "rename".

Hi R,

You  should

  1. mark these three measures as not visible
  2. Create calculated members, one for each of these three measures. The calc is simply the name of the physical measure. Note, the calcs need to have different names to their physical measure.
  3. Click on the Calculation Properties button within the Calculations tab. Under Calculation Name, select each of the new measures, one at a time. Fill in the Display folder (Sales and Order totals) and select the Associated Measure Group as Sales.

You should be good with that,
