CPU goes high when resuming from sleep on offline laptop
We have noticed that the ccmexec.exe service goes high on CPU usage (70-80 %) when you are resuming from sleep mode on a laptop, when the laptop isn't connected to the network. it is just like the agent still expect to be able to connect to the SCCM infrastructure. The solution is to kill ccmexec.exe from tha task manager, but the client should be intelligent enough to see that it isn't network connected anymore. We have seen this on the agent version 400.6221.1110 (SP1) and 4.00.6487.2000 (SP2)Have you seen the same and do you know if there is a solution to solve this?/regards

Hi I did some more investigation and it looks like the problem is solved with client 4.00.6487.2000 when the client resume from sleep the cpu goes high for approx. 30-40 sec. then it drops to normal level. The cpu goes down around the same time where "END ExecuteSystemTasks('NetworkChanged')" is written to the ccmexec.log I will come back on the thread again, is I find more issues related to it. /Regards Hi I have the same problem. When the client resumes from the sleep the CPU goes high on average for 30-40 sec (from 10 seconds to several minutes) then it drops to normal level. If the CPU goes high for several minutes then the battery can lose up to 10% of its charge. How to prevent this high CPU consumption? Regards, kopn
