Hello,

We are getting Critical error on the SCCM compliant report for the Dell Webcam Central.  The error type is "CI Discovery Error", Error code is "0x80070001". Error Description is "Incorrect function", Error Source "Windows".

It appears the error failed before it gets to the Compliance Rules validation.  The compliance rules are checking for the existence of the Webcam.exe along with the registry version.  If they are non-compliant, it will show warning.  

We also have a Detection Method is VB script.  When run the VB script on the device separately, it returns the connect computer model.  We are running out of idea how to troubleshoot this problem.

We don't know how to interpret above error code and not sure what the incorrect function means.  Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
