CD Key blocked after reinstalling

My product jey has been blocked and I could not reactivate my Win10 Technical preview.

It shows Error code: 0x8004FC12.

I was working on virtual machine using My Macbook Air. It happened after I deleted and recreated a new one.

I've tried the command prompt recommendations and others in the forums but nothing seem to work.

Any idea on how should I approach this?

Windows 10 Insider Preview, Enterprise Edition

  1. Youll need to activate with your organizations Volume License keys (KMS or MAK) or VL keys acquired through MSDN subscription.  Please post any questions related to Windows 10 Enterprise Insider Preview in the TechNet Forum.

  2. If you installed the Enterprise Edition, but are not part of an organization with a Volume License, you will not be able to activate. Please revert Windows 7 or 8.1, and upgrade to Windows after its released on July 29 by reserving your copy of Windows 10.

Windows 10 Insider Preview, Home or Pro Edition

  1. If you activated the Windows version or Insider Preview build you were on before Build 10240: please wait a few days. A very small percentage of devices may experience a delay in activation.

  2. If your device has been connected for a few days and is still showing the watermark, you probably didnt activate your previous version before upgrading to Build 10240. Please revert Windows 7 or 8.1, and upgrade to Windows 10 after its released on July 29 by reserving your free copy of Windows 10.

Hi there, I actually have activated the previous one.
I recreated my virtual machine due to the insufficient storage space allocated in my previous one.
I actually managed to download the latest build, but couldn't installed due to the limited storage.

Wiped it off, reinstalled and the product key was blocked.

In retrospect, it would have been a better idea to increase the storage space on the previous vm than to start again. (This can be done no matter whether you are talking about memory or disk storage.) No fresh installs of the preview editions will activate any more. Whether you had it activated before or not does not change anything.

So close to release date the only think Microsoft is interested in testing is the upgrade process.

A fresh install will not get activated because all pre-released keys have been deactivated.

Please wait till Windows 10 RTM is released and dust is settled.

Perhaps after that, you will be able to use the product key again.
