CDC_Why we need to Determining Whether the Change Data Is Ready
Hi All, According to MSDN link below, we need to Determining Whether the Change Data Is Ready. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb895283.aspx I want to know that why this situation will happen. Because we get endDateTime from table [cdc].[lsn_time_mapping], and we also get [tran_end_time] from the same table. If modification to a table happened, there will be a new row inserted into table [cdc].[lsn_time_mapping] with [tran_end_time] and start_lsn, so seems 'Change Data is not Ready' won't happen. Please help me about this. Thanks and Regards, Bruce

it is because of the asynchronous nature of the data movements. If you select intervals the 'Change Data is not Ready' condition is possible.Arthur My Blog
