CCMSetup.exe is not completing the installation - it is stopping within 2 to 4 seconds. System Center 2012. Manual client installation also not working.
Dear All, Please help me out in completing the System Center Config Manager 2012 Client Installation. I have tried to copy all the file 150 mb to client pc but after starting CCMSetup.exe file it shows in task manager then goes off. I enabled all the client push option and gave the rights to all Users like SMSAdmin - Domain Admin Group and the Domain Administrator account but installation is not completing. It is happening on the Windows Server and Windows Client Machines. NO SPECIFIC OS. Please help me out to finalize the installation as only 70 machines are left all other 300 clients are installed successfully. Best Regards,

Az, Since this is Configuration Manager 2012, This should be posted under that forum and not the Configuration Manager 2007 forum. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/configmanagerdeployment/threads As mentioned by Kriss, the ccmsetup.log is the place to start troubleshooting why the client installation is failing to complete. If needed you can post the ccmcetup.log from one of the clients here. But keep in mind the resolution for one system may or not be the resolution for all 70 of your clients.Kind Regards, Tom Ziegler http://www.sccmguy.com | Twitter @Tom_Ziegler

Dear Both, You were correct LOG file is the best to start the troubleshooting. I found XP Service Packs must be updated before System Center Client Installation, BITS versions must be updated, Windows Updates must be updated, .Net Framework 4 may be installed if installation is unable to download this update. I am sorry for my late response on this as I was very busy in getting these client installations done and then gone on vacation. Thank you both. I really appreciate it. Best Regards
