Buttons missing !!!
Hi, My OpsMgr 2007 R2 client is running on Windows7 64bit, has been running fine for several months . Now when I choose Agent Managed or Pending Management, right click an agent and choose Approve / Repair / Uninstall I don't have the Update/Repair/Uninstall/Cancel buttons, can't see them at all !! Why don't I have these buttons any longer? Please help me :-)

Hi, Based on my research, I would like to suggest the following: 1. Please run the following command on the server and see how it works: %Program files%\System Center Operations Manager 2007\Microsoft.mom.ui.console.exe /ClearCache 2. Please ensure you are running the console with Operations Manager Administrator account or an account which has enough permissions. 3. When you highlight the computer in Agent Managed or Pending Management, please check if the Approve / Repair / Uninstall buttons are available in Actions Panel. If the issue persists, please capture a screenshot on the error you noticed. For your convenience, I have created a workspace for you. You can upload the pictures via the following link. (Please choose "Send Files to Microsoft") https://sftasia.one.microsoft.com/choosetransfer.aspx?key=c7682c88-6aa2-4578-87ae-2763c8ae8819 Password is “6]Q[tQD]YX-$q2x” (without quotations). Hope this helps. Thanks. Nicholas Li - MSFT Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Was the agent manually installed? Some options on manually installed will be greyed out in the administration portion of the console. If it was a manually installed agent you have limited options from the Admin part of the console. What are the agent settings in the registry on the Windows 7 box? Does the registry information look correct for your configuration group? What does the ops manager event log look like on the Windows 7 box?Regards, Blake Email: mengottohotmail.com Blog: http//discussitnow.spaces.live.com
