Building a HP 2540p from SCCM
It is booting WinPE and after that reboots?
Is the client receiving a correct IP address?
(If not, try downloading and adding new network drivers to the WinPE boot image(s), update the distributionpoint and try again)

sorted it!!! I enabled command line support as you suggested and checked it was getting an IP address, which it was. I did refresh both DP's as well.
Thanks for your advice Henrik

Have you enabed the command line support, so that you can press F8 and get a command prompt?
Can you see that you get a correct IP address there?

Hi Henrik,
It boots into WinPE ok - so I F12 etc and the SCCM background appears, it flashes a few messages about network connections then hangs for 10 seconds then reboots.
I have put the network driver I built the laptop with in the 64 bit boot image, but not the 32 bit boot image - I think I will have a go at this now to cover all bases.
Will update you later.
Thanks

Hi,
Wondered if anybody had any issues trying to build a HP 2540p from SCCM?
The laptop can get as far as the SCCM 2007 splash screen but then it hangs and reboots. I have tried other laptops and they are fine.
We are using SCCM 2007 SP2
Help please! : )

Have just added the driver to the 32 bit boot image but I still get the same thing. Any ideas?
Thanks
