I have a list for tracking bugs and service requests. I would like users to be able to submit bugs/service requests but not to be able to edit them once created. Is there a way to do this using SP?

Create a SharePoint Permissoin Level that that has Add Items, it will automatically be given View Items, View Pages, and Open Permissions as well. Create a SharePoint Group that uses your AddItems Permission Level, break inheritance on the List, remove the groups necessary to restrict permissions appropriately add the New SharePoint Group, and Add Users to the New SharePoint Group -IvanIvan Sanders My LinkedIn Profile, My Blog, @iasanders.
