Since i upgraded to win 8.1, ive been having some issues with hardware controllers.

For example, Im listening music with the 3.5 mm jack . Afterwards, i unplug the device, the sound should be louding in the loudspeakers of my notebook, but intstead there is no sound. And it wont go back, except if i reinstall the sound controller.

I had similar issues with the usb controller.

Can you reinstall 8.1 from scratch? It looks like the upgrade procedure does not treat some device drivers well.

(WHY everyone is arriving to this forum with drivers and h/w issues??)
