can I USE FILE SERVER 2008 (IT HAS GENERAL SHARES AND DFS )AS Branch Distribution Points ?

I need Distribution Points for slow connection site for osd deploy.
Do I need spacial configuration fot file server ?

The only purpose in life of a secondary site is to manage clients across limited bandwidth links. It is a step up from a BDP because it can also host an MP, SUP, and PSP.

Hi,
I agree with Jason maybe you should consider a secondary site which can solve PXE-boot for you as well on the location with poor bandwidth as well as SUP and MP proxy.
