Box and Whisker chart questions
All, We are considering box and whisker as one of our charts (SSRS 2008) but we need to meet some business requirements. Hence these questions. Can you please help answer? We will have just one series. 1. Is it possible to create horizontal box and whisker rather than vertical? 2. Is it possible to display the numbers 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% along the edges of box, whiskers, and end points? This way it becomes easier for our users to understand the chart. 3. We want to highlight only one observation in the series. Is it possible to provide an X mark or some other indication on the box and whisker to highlight this observation. 4. Is it possible to show the percentile, a label and the value of an observation on the chart? Thanks a ton. I'd really appreciate your answers.

Hi Hmsdn, We might not be able to design the horizontal box and whisker chart, you could click this link get some inlight http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/BoxWhiskerH.html or some other third chart. For X-Marker, please click this link http://www.bidn.com/blogs/MikeDavis/ssis/163/how-to-make-a-box-plot-chart-in-sql-reporting-services-2008-ssrs Thanks, Challen Fu
