Boot Sector
Hi i have a problem when deploy Migration Task Sequence from Win XP to Win 7 the task sequence working good but when task Sequence start Machine to boot with Win PE machine stop the cause is Boot sector. any adviceAhmed Ali

Do you mean you want to capture user status from Windows XP? It does not need to contain the reboot to WinPE tasks. thanks for your reply actually i haven't problem at Capture state Process but after completing this process machine need to start at windows PE to install Win7 at this point windows stuck at Boot sector and can't boot. thanksAhmed Ali

Maybe you have not selected a proper boot image. The following website may help you on the whole process of deploying a system. Windows 7 Deployment Using SCCM 2007 SP2 http://blogs.technet.com/b/birojitn/archive/2010/01/20/windows-7-deployment-using-sccm-2007-sp2.aspx You only need to add the USMT capture task before the system deployment task into the task sequence mentioned in the above article.
