Blogs and Permissions
We recently had an intranet site set up and requested a Blog component on our team pages. We wanted everyone in the organisation to be able to comment on the blogs posted by teams, while only Managers could edit documents and pages.  It has been set up so that EITHER you can comment etc on the blog AND edit all pages OR only view.

Our developer says that there is no solution to this IF we want to embed this in a team page... Is there a solution?

Hi,

I understand you want to add a blog component on team pages.

About permission for the blog, do you want everyone are able to comment on the blogs and only managers are able to edit?

If that is the case, you could add a post web part on term page and disable edit option for people which arent managers.
